At M&A’s we like to run various educational and creative classes as detailed below also are details of our Play Therapy and Speech and Language Services that we run as part of our extended service.

The Expressive Child

Marie Kinahan is a local Play Therapist, she have recently set up a practice in M & A’s Montessori since January 2015!

Play Therapy

Marie offers individual and group Play Therapy sessions with children and adolescents. Play Therapy supports children to communicate and express themselves through play. In Play Therapy, Marie works through a variety of play mediums: using art, drama, music, play, sand and storytelling. Play Therapy assists children to explore and make sense of difficult life events. Play Therapy promotes self- esteem, creativity, concentration, imagination and problem solving skills with children.

Social Skills and Play Skills Programmes

Marie offers Social Skills and Play Skills programmes for children between the ages of 3-12 years. The programme offers an integrated approach of Therapeutic Play skills to enhance children’s play and social skills. Marie incorporates a range of play mediums in the programmes.

 Speech and Language Therapy

M&A’s works closely with Katharine Bulbulia who offers a friendly, client-centred approach to Speech and Language Therapy. Katherine is also trained in the Montessori Method and prior to training as an SLT she worked in the Early Childhood sector for 15 years in a variety of settings.

Katharine uses her Montessori knowledge to enhance her advice, assessment and intervention when working with children, teenagers and adults experiencing speech, language and communication difficulties.

Katharine also lectures in Montessori and Early Years Education in a Private College in Dublin.
